Joel Fierstien
Joel
and his wife Joan are residents of Livingston, New Jersey. They have
two daughters, Jocelyn, a licensed Psychologist, and Marnie, an
official with PSEG. They have two grandchildren, Isabella and
Savanah. Joel is a member of Sanford M Shor Lodge #22. He is an
accomplished ritualist having performed in all the ranks of
initiation as well as the Golden Spur ceremony. He has served as the
President of the New Jersey Charity Foundation, chairman of the Boy
Scout connection for New Jersey, the Special Olympics committee and
the coats for kids project. He was elected to the New Jersey Hall of
Fame in 2001 and awarded a Golden Spur in 1991. Joel is an attorney
with degrees from Temple University, American University College of
Law and the NYU School of Taxation. He has served on the New Jersey
Supreme Court Ethics Committee. Joel is a member of the Denville New
Jersey Chamber of Commerce, and The Livingston Library Endowment
Committee. Marathon and triathlon activities are part of his
schedule as is coaching girl’s softball. When his schedule permits
he enjoys playing bridge.
