Dear Mr. Robinson,
My name is MSgt Steven T. Westerfield. I’m writing to thank you for the care package
you sent to us here in Iraq.

My Marines and I are no different than those in our history whereas we wait with anticipation the traditional “mail call”. It still gives the same joy and break in the action that it always has. Never in my career have I seen such support and so many well wishers as there are today. The young
Marines enjoy Marines enjoy the contact as well as the goodies that come along!

As you might imagine, for some this is their first time away from home let alone being in enemy territory. Mail brings them back
home for that short amount of time, enough time to recharge their batteries just a little.

Thank you and your friends ever so much for taking the time to help us out and let us know we’re not forgotten.
